About Us
Newport Sounds Ltd was established in 2009 by John Humfrey to record, produce and market a variety of music. We work in north Pembrokeshire which is, in itself, a pleasure and very much hope you will enjoy our products.
Our personnel includes Lee Mason who engineers and produces for us when not busy recording and performing with Lowri Evans, Betsy Humfrey – creative artwork and Robert Thomas – web design/IT troubleshooter.
John Long brought us his excellent compositions which have been released on most digital stores worldwide, his book My Story is also available from our website. We have also released a blues single sung by Betsy Havell who is currently working on her own extensive more contemporary compositions. Geraint “Busker” Jones has a large back catalogue and we have 19 tracks available for use in Films/TV. And then the Dhogie Band after 42 years of performing are celebrating with a 40 Years double album of 40 tracks available now from our online shop and at Dhogie Band gigs.
